SILENT BREATH Guides Hub
First night through true ending: silence, Sisters, map sense, and the bunker key.
This hub is the table of contents for every SILENT BREATH tutorial on the wiki. The forest does not explain itself. There is no pause that freezes threats, the in-game clock keeps running if you alt-tab, and a single ignored Sister line can wipe a poster run. Use the pages below as a ladder: learn the loop, lock the microphone, memorize counters, then chase endings.
Start with Getting Started if this is your first tape. It covers spawn, flashlight, the scream meter, and why you should not talk over jumpscares. Pair it with Controls so F, sprint, and the 1.0 emote key are not mysteries at 2 AM.
How a night is actually won
SILENT BREATH is not a hidden-object game with a scripted camera. You wake at a crime-scene house, the forest listens through your microphone after dark, and missing-person posters sit on bodies that relocate when you die. Official store copy still describes that loop correctly after version 1.0: scream or get caught, and the hunt restarts with new placements.
Winning is a menu of endings, not a single boss. Collect five posters and dawn can break. Hide until 5:00 AM. Steal the silver key from the butcher cabin, open the bunker by the sparking tower, and answer the phone. Version 1.0 added tape recorders for the true ending; that trail belongs in the walkthrough and the 1.0 patch page. Pick one objective per session until the layout lives in your head.
Survival pages worth opening mid-run
The stay silent guide is about the microphone as a third analog stick. Headset, gain, the three-crack camera, and the cheap achievement of setting mic level to zero are all there. The Sisters guide is the one you reread after a confusing death: stare, freeze, flee, or look away depending on the voice line. Keep the encounter sheet in a second window if you hate Alt-Tab during a hunt — remember the clock does not pause.
Navigation pain is why Map Hub exists. Landmarks beat tree memory. The butcher cabin and bunker guide are a pair: key, two-minute chase, sparking tower, ringing phone. After 1.0, the compass page explains the 45-meter assist and why you should not trust it beside a Sister.
Co-op, tools, and what not to skip
Multiplayer is a later chapter. Exodiac Studios said 1.0 story still ends in singleplayer and that friends mode is a gift layered on top. Learn VOIP etiquette so five open mics do not become five scream meters. Hardcore, revive rules, and the Q emote menu live there.
The PC nav dropdown only lists seven guide links plus View all. Controls, endings, settings, and co-op live here on the hub so the bar stays short. Open Achievements for the 32 Steam badges, Endings for posters versus tapes, and Settings for the 1.01A fisheye toggle.
When you want utilities instead of essays, open Tools: microphone test, system requirements, and the night checklist. For who can actually kill you versus who is only a scare, use Wiki, the threats page, and items. Honest first-hour impressions sit in the review.
Read one guide, then jump sideways. Same-category pages interlink on purpose so you never have to return to this hub unless you want the map of the map.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Which SILENT BREATH guide should I read first?
Open Getting Started, then Stay Silent, then Sisters. Add the map only after you have survived one Sister encounter without panic sprinting in a random cardinal direction.
Do these guides assume version 1.0?
Yes. Full release is 20 August 2026. Early Access tips about missing compasses are outdated; 1.0 added compass assist, location names, and true-ending tapes.
Is there a codes or Trello page?
No. SILENT BREATH is a Steam horror title, not a Roblox tycoon. Roadmaps appear as Steam news, summarised under Updates.
