SILENT BREATH Night Checklist

Tick objectives for this tape only. Death means reset, same as the forest.

Night Checklist

You cannot pin a quest log in SILENT BREATH. You can tick boxes here between landmarks. When the camera dies, hit reset. The game forgot your posters; you should too. Routes: walkthrough. Geography: map hub.

Use the list as a menu, not a completionist whip. Night one: two posters and live Sisters. Night two: full five. Night three: bunker. Night four: tapes for lore. 5 AM hold is a valid win if you are hiding in the bus garage.

Do not tick while Armless is walking. Freeze, then tick. Do not tick on a phone that speakers into the game mic.

Co-op: one person owns the checklist or you will double-count posters that do not exist. 1.0 rebalanced missing-person density — you may walk farther than EA muscle memory.

If you want a hardware pre-flight, specs. If you want volume practice, mic. If you want voices, encounter sheet.

The checklist cannot hear Sisters. You still can. Keep Stay Silent in your head even when every box is green.

At dawn, screenshot the ticks if you like. Then reset. The next tape is a new forest.

How to use the boxes without lying to yourself

Tick posters only after E. Seeing a body is not a pickup. Tick the key only after you have left the cabin alive; a key on a corpse you have not looted yet does not count. Tick the phone only after the interact, not after the door achievement. Tapes are 1.0-only — if your friend is on an ancient beta, those boxes are fiction.

A 5 AM tick means dawn, not “I hid for twenty minutes and got bored.” The hold in the bus garage is real; so is walking into a Sister on the way there. If you died, reset even if you “almost” had four posters. Almost is how this genre griefs you.

Co-op stacks should not run four checklists. One owner. 1.0’s stingier poster layout makes double-counting worse. When every box is green, you still need a quiet mouth for the walk back. The forest does not care about your UI. Stay Silent is the last tool, and it is not on this form.

If you like lists, you will over-tick. Resist. The forest rewards routes, not UI. One owner in co-op, one reset after death, one win condition per tape. That is the whole philosophy of a game that refuses a quest log. When the boxes feel like homework, you are playing SILENT BREATH correctly. When they feel like a video-game journal, you are about to scream at a scare because you looked down to tick. Look up. The boxes are a courtesy. The forest is the test. If you need a second screen, put this list there and keep the game full screen. If you only have a phone, silence notifications first or the checklist becomes a scream meter. That is the last operational rule this page will ever need. Tick after the interact, never during a voice line, and never after a death you have not reset. The forest already forgot your posters. Join it in forgetting, then start the landmark circuit again with a quiet mouth and a live flashlight.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Why reset the checklist after death?

Missing-person locations reshuffle when you fail. Ticking old posters will lie to you.

Do I need every box for a win?

No. Five posters, 5 AM, bunker phone, or 1.0 tapes are separate endings. Pick one.

Does this sync with Steam achievements?

No. It is a local browser list. Achievements still pop in the client.
