SILENT BREATH is uniquely suited to small utilities because the fail states are simple to represent: a volume bar, a spec table, a voice-to-action card, a checklist that resets when you die. Co-op groups can put the encounter sheet on a phone that is not the game mic. Do not let that phone notification ping the scream meter.

Why a horror wiki bothers with widgets
Most wikis only have prose. SILENT BREATH fails you in three mechanical ways that prose cannot simulate: loudness, spec mismatch, and forgotten objectives while a voice is talking. The microphone widget is a gym. The spec table is a refund-preventer. The encounter sheet is a flash card. The checklist is a per-tape quest log the game refuses to pin. None of them need an account. None of them should be used while Armless is mid-stride.
If you are teaching a friend, send them Getting Started plus the mic tool, not this hub’s entire paragraph stack. If you are hunting 1.0 tapes, the checklist’s last boxes matter more than the spec table. If you are on Deck, specs first. If you keep mixing Shy and Big, the sheet first.
Tools can lie. The meter is not the official threshold. The checklist cannot hear a Sister. The spec table cannot see your overlay software. Use them as rails, then look at the trees. When a patch changes flashlight rules versus the light-hating threat, the wiki updates faster than a widget label — read both.
